Shipping, Returns, & Warranty

Shipping

All prices shown on this site do not include shipping. 

Most of our products ship via UPS or FedEx ground. If they are extra large or if you are having us assemble your tricycle for you, they will ship via freight, and we will coordinate with you when and where it will be delivered.  

Please, always inspect your packages when they arrive.  If they are damaged, please take pictures of the damaged box and contact us as soon as possible so we can file a claim on your behalf.  If you wait too long or do not take photos Trailmate may not be able to help you get reimbursement for the damage.  Once the tricycle leaves our facility, it becomes the responsivity of the carrier and the customer. 

Returns

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Customer is responsible for return shipment and up to a 20% restocking fee depending on the state of the returned tricycle.  Please contact sales@trailmate.com to begin a return.  Returns made without Trailmate approval will not be accepted.  We know these are strict policies compared to giant e-commerce companies, and we are sorry, but it's the best we can do given our size and American manufacturing and assembly.  Thank you for understanding!

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@trailmate.com.

Warranty

All Trailmate products are guaranteed against all defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from date of purchase. Tires and tubes are not covered by this guarantee.

During this period, any part that is judged by the makers to be defective will be replaced free of charge. Any failure resulting from accident, abuse, neglect, normal wear, or improper assembly or maintenance by the owner is not covered.

Lifetime Warranty

Trailmate further authorizes a lifetime frame guarantee and will replace any frame, at no cost to the buyer, providing that the cycle has not been used for rental or industrial use, and that:

  • The item has not been altered, repaired, or modified in any way.
  • The item has not been subject to misuse, negligence, and/or an accident.
  • Original ownership is established.

Any parts under this guarantee on which claims are entered shall be returned for inspection with transportation charges prepaid by the claimant. Replacement parts will be shipped F.O.B. factory.

There are no warranties or guarantee, expressed or implied, written or oral, which extend beyond what is described here.
